What is the All-on-4 method?
All-on-4 is one of the most thoroughly researched implantology treatment methods, available since 1998. It enables the restoration of both function and aesthetics of the bite for edentulous patients or those requiring the extraction of remaining teeth. The technique involves placing four implants in one arch—two in the front section and two in the back. Importantly, All-on-4 can also be applied to patients with periodontitis and significant bone loss. Thanks to this method, it is possible to attach a temporary bridge to the implants on the same day.
Benefits of the All-on-4 method.
The All-on-4 method allows for an immediate improvement in comfort and appearance—patients leave our clinic with a new smile on the very same day. Using only four implants, an entire dental arch can be restored, granting patients the freedom to eat and enjoy life without major restrictions. Unlike traditional removable dentures, the Malo Bridge used in this method does not have a palatal component, significantly enhancing comfort.

Forget about removable dentures.
The All-on-4 treatment process:
Every treatment at our clinic begins with a consultation and diagnostic tests, such as a CBCT scan. The doctor evaluates the oral condition, answers the patient’s questions, and outlines possible treatment options.
Before the procedure, patients undergo dental physiotherapy to improve jaw mobility and reduce muscle tension, as well as dental hygiene sessions to minimize the risk of inflammation. Both of these stages are free of charge and fully conducted within our clinic. The procedure itself, lasting between 2 and 4 hours, involves the extraction of teeth and the placement of implants. Afterward, the patient can either go home or relax in a specially prepared recovery room.
On the same day—or occasionally the next morning, after the prosthetic work is completed by our lab—the patient returns to have the temporary bridge secured to the implants.
The metamorphoses of our patients.
Bridge Construction.
The Malo Bridge can be placed immediately due to its lightweight construction. It is made of acrylic, reinforced with special Cr-Co easy bar plates and sleeves that connect the bridge to the implant. The Malo Bridge always includes artificial gum tissue, discreetly integrated with the natural gum, making it invisible even during a wide smile.
Right after the procedure, the bridge is limited to the last implants, meaning the final tooth always aligns with the last implant. After three months, it is possible to add one tooth at no additional cost. The final bridge typically includes 12 teeth.
Final Restoration.
Six months after implant placement, the temporary bridge can be replaced with the final restoration. This may be a titanium bar with acrylic teeth or a full-ceramic bridge. Due to its weight, a full-ceramic bridge can only be used in one dental arch. Alternatively, a screw-retained bridge can serve as the final restoration.
The cost of the final restoration follows the current price list.
Anesthesia.
The All-on-4 procedure is performed under local anesthesia. Upon the patient’s request or in cases of medical necessity, sedation can be provided in the presence of an anesthesiologist at our clinic. For general anesthesia (narcosis), the procedure is conducted in a hospital setting.
The cost of sedation is as per the current price list, while the cost of general anesthesia is determined individually.
Follow-Up Visits.
Mandatory follow-up visits occur 10 days, 2 months, 4 months, and 6 months after the procedure, free of charge. During these visits, the restoration is unscrewed and professionally cleaned, and the condition of the tissues and implants is thoroughly assessed.
Over time, as healing progresses, the soft tissues contract, which may create a gap between the bridge and the gum. During follow-ups, the implant hygienist may determine if relining (adding acrylic to the bridge to adjust its fit) is necessary.
After six months, the timing of further follow-ups is arranged individually. Adherence to scheduled follow-up visits is a condition for the 1-year warranty.
How to prepare for the procedure?
Before the procedure, a series of tests must be completed, with a detailed list provided by our receptionists. These include, but are not limited to, levels of vitamin B12, vitamin D, calcium, magnesium, iron, fasting glucose, cholesterol, as well as TSH, FT3, and FT4. Test results should be sent to our patient coordinator as soon as possible.
On the day of the procedure, ensure you are well-rested, have a light breakfast, and wear comfortable clothing. Avoid wearing makeup, and men are advised to shave their facial hair.
Before the procedure, patients receive a prescription for medications to be taken both before and after the procedure as directed.
Post-Procedure Recommendations.
• Use cold compresses.
• Avoid smoking.
• Refrain from drinking alcohol until the end of the antibiotic course.
• Avoid hot foods and drinks on the day of the procedure.
• Do not use tanning beds or saunas.
• Avoid physical exertion for 7 days.
• Use the mouthwash and toothbrush provided in the post-procedure package.
Zygomatic implants.
Zygomatic implants are specialized dental implants used for patients with severe maxillary bone loss, where traditional implants are not feasible without prior bone regeneration. They are significantly longer than conventional implants, allowing them to anchor in the zygomatic bone, ensuring proper stability.
Pterygoid implants.
Pterygoid implants are a type of dental implant placed in the pterygoid (wing-shaped) bone of the maxilla, in areas where traditional implants may not always be viable. They serve as an anchor for bridges in procedures utilizing six implants. Pterygoid implants are used in cases of bone loss in the anterior and lateral maxillary regions and offer an alternative to other solutions, such as bone grafting.
Patient Coordinator.
Every patient in our clinic is assigned a coordinator who supports them at every stage of treatment. The coordinator is responsible for organizing the procedure, providing all necessary information, and assisting with preparation. This person is your primary contact for any questions or concerns, offering full support before, during, and after the procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
Can I choose the shape and color of my teeth?
Of course! Our clinic has an in-house prosthetic laboratory where our team will help you select the shape and color of your teeth based on your preferences and requirements, as well as the shape of your face.
Does the procedure hurt?
Pain during the procedure is subjective and depends on various factors, including the presence of inflammation in the oral cavity. Our team strives to make the procedure as painless and comfortable as possible.
How long does swelling last after the procedure?
If swelling occurs, it usually lasts between 7 to 10 days and gradually subsides. Not all patients experience swelling, as it depends on individual bodily responses.
How much does it cost?
A consultation, including CBCT imaging, costs 500 PLN. The cost of the All-on-4 procedure (for one arch) here.
What are the implants made of?
Most implants are made of pure titanium or titanium alloys. Titanium is preferred in implantology due to its exceptional biocompatibility, meaning it is well-tolerated by the body, and its ability to integrate with the bone (osteointegration).
What toothpaste should I use after the procedure?
We recommend using toothpaste designed for gum care, which supports the healing of the soft tissues, particularly in cases of inflammation.
Can I fly after the procedure?
There are no contraindications to flying after the All-on-4 procedure. You won’t “set off” airport security alarms—implants are not detected.
How long does the procedure take?
The procedure typically lasts between 2 to 4 hours.
Can I undergo an MRI?
Having implants is not a contraindication for an MRI, as implants are not ferromagnetic. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to remove the bridge before the scan.
What can I eat?
Immediately after the procedure, only soft and cold foods are recommended, such as soups or yogurt. After the bridge is placed, you can gradually introduce harder foods. Start with scrambled eggs, soft bread (without crust), and oatmeal, then slowly increase the firmness of your meals.
How should I care for my oral cavity immediately after the procedure?
After the procedure, our patients receive a specially prepared post-procedure package. It includes items such as a soft toothbrush, toothpaste, and a chlorhexidine rinse.
When can I start using a water flosser?
You can start using a water flosser two weeks after the procedure. Begin carefully, using low pressure, and gradually increase the intensity over time. A water flosser will help you remove food debris from under the bridge.
Sedation, what is it?
Sedation involves administering sedatives to the patient to make him or her more comfortable during the procedure. Sedatives are usually introduced through the intravenous route.
What are the differences between sedation and general anesthesia (anesthesia)?
The main differences are:
Patient's level of consciousness Under minimal and moderate sedation, the patient feels comfortable, sleepy and at ease. He may fall asleep from time to time, but is easily awakened. In contrast, with general anesthesia, the patient remains unconscious and unconscious during the procedure.
The need for respiratory support devices. In the case of sedation, such devices are not necessary.
What other options are available?
Local anesthesia: the patient is fully conscious during the procedure, but feels comfortable during the procedure.
General anesthesia: the patient is fully asleep during the procedure and has no memories of the procedure afterwards. This procedure must take place in a hospital.
How can I prepare for a procedure with sedation?
Before the procedure, you must refrain from eating for 6 hours and drinking for 4 hours (you can drink water up to 2 hours before the procedure).
The patient must be picked up from the procedure by a companion. The effects of sedation may persist for up to 24 hours after the procedure, so the person should take care of the patient overnight.
Do not drive for 24 hours after the procedure.
Before the procedure, inform the office of all medications you are taking, including inhalers and regular over-the-counter medications.
Wear loose, comfortable and warm clothing, such as a tracksuit or fleece.
